Why Volunteer?

Parents are an integral part of the Marching Rams, and we need help from EVERYONE.

Unlike ALL ATHLETICS at Robinson, band does not require a certain number of parent volunteer hours in order for the student to participate in the activity. In order to keep it that way, we rely on all parents voluntarily pitching in to help during the three month marching band season. Marching Band can not exist without parent support. We need help from everyone to help keep our program among the best in the country.

Volunteering allows parents to spend more time with their kids while they’re doing the thing they love. Parents get to know their kids’ friends and their parents, and they have fun while supporting the program. There are a LOT of ways to be involved, and no previous experience is necessary! All you need is a positive attitude and a willingness to pitch in.

Use this form to tell us what areas your skills can best be utilized. This will help the Board & the coordinators begin organizing the various events. Regardless of what you sign up for here, you will also get volunteer requests throughout the year for specific days & times for events requiring volunteers.
